Question about "bien"
Does bien often if ever (depending on where you are from) become interchangeable with "muy"
For example, last year my Cuban teacher would often say "... bien facil" which means the same as "muy facil" or very easy no? Is this just a Caribbean thing if anything? Also, i was watching the music video of a song by Wisin Y Yandel on youtube and someone said "muy buen video y la rola esta bien chida" Now, I understand what this means but why not say "muy chida" or very cool. And yes, i know chido is a mexican affiliated word All help is appreciated. Thank you in advance Last edited by ers074; February 06, 2010 at 09:07 PM. |

I wouldn't say that "bien" is informal Spanish
![]() 16. adv. c. mucho (‖ con abundancia). Hoy ha llovido bien. Bien te has equivocado. Tag=adverbio ![]() |
