Homework

check the underlined parts, the other sentences are part of the workbork.

1. Me llamo Marcos. Siempre pienso en mis amigos y primero y pongo sus necesidades antes de las mías. Si veo a una persona que lleva muchas cosas, la ayudo: le abro la puerta o le ayudo a llevar las cosas. Generalmente, no discuto con nadie. Soy una persona...

responsable

2. Me llamo Teresa. Cuando mis amigos tienen problemas, me buscan a mí y les doy consejos porque entiendo sus problemas muy bien. Soy una persona...

comprensiva

3. Me llamo Miguel. Mis amigos suelen preocuparse por muchas cosas, tales como los exámenes y cosas por el estilo, pero yo no. A mí me parece que no es necesario ponerse nervioso. Soy una persona...

tranquilo

4. Me llamo Tomás. Siempre me preocupa cómo me ven los demás. Quiero que las chicas piensen que soy muy guapo y por eso me miro mucho en el espojo. ¡Por supuesto, siempre llevo un espejo pequeño en mi bolsillo! Soy una persona...

vanidoso

5. Me llamo Isabel. No le puedo mentir a nadie. Prefiero decir la verdad siempre por muy difícil que sea veces. Soy una persona...

sincera

All OK, just a little detail ---> tranquila and vanidosa, because it is "persona"

El hecho de que soy arriesgado no significa que no soy una persona sensata.
El hecho de que sea ahorrador no significa que no sea un alma caritativa.

@Alec: Jessica is asking for help with her homework. Only hints should be given, not the answers.

it can't be vanidosa because Tomás, the person that is vain, is male. So it has to be be vanidoso.

Same with tranquilo

Jessica - I see why you say that, but it is not correct. If you say Tomás es vanidoso, what you say is true. But here you are talking about la persona, which is always feminine, even when referring to a man. You are describing the person, and a person is always feminine, so Tomás es una persona vanidosa. Do you see the difference?

Sorry - I didn't see the previous posts, but I hope I'm not giving too much help.

Well, at this point I believe Perikles is giving you data that you need.
I give you another example,
"Yo [masculine, Pablo] intento ser práctico"
"Yo [masculine, Pablo] soy una persona práctica"
