Esta vez me extraña un poco el uso de "al entender (que)" en el ejemplo más abajo: Quote:

"entender" doesn't mean "understand" there but something like "getting a conclusion by inference or deduction" with a touch of doing so after reflecting on that quite a lot ("discurrir") and by having a deep sensibility or learned skills to do that. An intellectual authority "entiende" that way.
