¿Existen obligaciones? Prestar dinero o algo asi. Ir a una cita con nosotros? Es broma.

Man, in affinity with man, survives, and that survival is pleasure.

Increasing communication increases affinity, so helping others and be helped is part of surviving in a chaotic world...

A friend is somebody you can trust and trusts you as well.

¿Más claro?

Agua...

Elaina will become famous soon enough
Villa - if you have to define the meaning of friendship in a forum to someone and they keep asking, do you really want them as your friend?

JPablo and Chileno.....you both are just nuts!!!
But I love you both.......

It's common that in online forums one tends to agree with some people more often than with others or one feels somehow closer to them. Friendship requests, profile messages and private messages are a way to express that idea of feeling closer to someone. Usually, friendship requests are sent and accepted between people who have already developed some agreeable communication in the forums.

As it has already been said, however, friendship has a different meaning for every person. There are people who send friendship requests to users with whom they have never communicated, while there are those who wouldn't send a friendship request before having talked in the public forums or via private messages, and then decide an online friendship can develop.

The choice of friends, both online and in real life, is voluntary. There is no obligation to accept a friendship request and, therefore, no need to feel offended if the friendship request we sent is rejected.

@ Angelica... thank you! That was well put.

[Don't know much about golf, but I guess a good put comes after a good drive...] (And remember, if you drink, don't drive... don't even put!)

@ Chileno...

@ Villa... ¡Villa, Villa, maravilla! (In Spain David Villa is the best striker and goal scorer of our Soccer National Selection... "la Roja" and that's what the "sing" to him!)

I think Iniesta and Xavi are way better.

@ Premium, I agree on Xavi and Iniesta, but they play at different position and have a different role... in terms of scoring stats, Villa is the highest scorer for the National team...

@ Villa... (Con amigos así, ¿quién necesita enemigos?)

to everybody, dead or alive...

Elaina, Angélica y Pablo:

We got to laugh it up, there ain't no way I am going to die sad...

As to what Angélica said, all true but you have to even get more realistic in terms that in a forum you don't see faces, and you can really choose to ignore people, and then these people "should" leave you alone...

Now, if someone says to me in a private message that he or she doesn't want to deal with me, I wouldn't even ask why....!
