¡Hola!

¡Hola! Me llamo Hans. Yo estudio español. Yo hablo muy pequito pero me gusta practicar. Yo necesito mas palabras.

---

Hi! My name is Hans. I am studying Spanish, and am in my first class. I have very little knowledge so far, but I am enjoying practicing what little Spanish I have. I need more words to be able to say what I'd like to say, but that comes with time.

If any one would like to be e-pals (pen-pals in emails or on the forum) so I can practice my Spanish, it would be great! I am currently using broken English and Spanish...and have to ask "what does this word mean..." a lot. But I think I will learn more and use it more if I have someone to practice with instead of just in the class setting.

Look forward to meeting and hearing from you...
Hans

Hi My name is Hans. I am in my first Spanish class here in the US and I don't know much about it. I live in an area where I don't have a chance to interact with many Spanish speakers. I would love to be able to practice and interact with people in Spanish. I don't have a big word list yet, and I'm sure my Spanish is very basic...first class and all...but if you don't mind my asking "What does .... mean?" or "Como se dice....?" I'd like to hear from you. Oh, and please feel free to correct, comment and edit my Spanish, it's the only way to learn. I believe that I will learn and retain much more if I get to use it...

Kindest regards and I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Hans and welcome to the forums. I combined your two threads, since they are basically the same content. You're welcome to post as many threads as you like, as long as they're all different.

As far as learning goes, a good way to do it is to ask about one word or one phrase at a time in our vocabulary forum. You can ask about grammar stuff in the grammar forum etc.

Hope you have a great time here!

¡Hola!

Hoy es Jueves. Doce de Junio, dos mil y ocho.

Vivo en Indianapolis, IN. Tengo un familia pequito. My esposa y yo no tenemos niños. My esposa tiene dos niños, un nino y un nina, para su primero matrimonio. Trabajo en empresa y mi esposa no trabaja. Mi esposa trabaja en nuestra casa.

Me gusta bailar salsa y meringue. Me gusta tocar la guitarra.

Adios!

Okay, what I meant to say was:

Hello. Today is Thursday, 12-Jun-2008. I live in Indianapolis, IN. I have a small family. My wife and I have no kids. My wife has 2 children from her first marriage--a boy and a girl. I work in business and my wife doesn't work. She works in our home. I like to dance salsa and meringue. I like to play the guitar. Goodbye.

I'm working on using the vocabulary that I have this week. lol. So I'm limited to what I can say still. Since I'm learning, and I don't know all the tenses and words yet...If it wouldn't be too much trouble. I'd love the spanish, but underneath if you can put the translation that would be great. I spend a lot of time with your dictionary page looking up words I can't find cause they are verb tenses that I haven't been exposed to yet.

Note: no siempre tienes que continuar un parrafo con puntos, se continua con comas,,,, y continuas en minuscula.

Note: not ever you has to continue paragraph one with points, you should continue with commas and you should in lowercase letters.

Regards.

I hope you all are well.

I await your correctios.

No estoy de acuerdo con esto. No creo que exista ningún profesor de español que enseñe que no cuide la puntuación.
