¿Cómo se dice..?

"As a parent it's great to see your child enjoying it."

"Cómo un padre (se dice así aunque soy mujer?) está muy bien/genial a ver tu hijo disfrutando ello."

Como madre/padre es genial ver a tu niño/niña difrutarlo.

Como [sin artículo] padre/madre, es/está genial ver a tu hijo disfrutarlo [en infinitivo].

"Ello" jamás puede actuar como objeto directo.

La forma con gerundio "disfrutándolo" también sería correcta; pero la evitamos, sobre todo en medio escritos, para no originar una anfibología.

Otra alternativa:

...ver que tu hijo lo disfruta.
