A animar los bailes de Carnavales

Vino Pérez Prado con su orquesta de doce profesores a animar los bailes de Carnavales...

is Vino a verb or a proper noun?
in this context, does animar mean to present?

The word is a noun in past Vino.

I came to salute you.

Vine a saludarte.

I suppose you understood that it is the past tense of venir. Crotalito called the verb a noun by mistake.

In this context, animar means to liven up.

I can't be bad in my suggest.

I said the verb as noun perhaps it was a mistake.

But it's past way.

Pretty close. Have another look at the number of musicians.

Pérez Prado came with his twelve-piece orchestra to liven up the Carnaval dances.

oops yeah twelve is right. why is doce profesores used?? is that the normal way to say 12 piece orchestra? that seems confusing to me.

You can find other words used, in both languages, but that is the translation I would use. You can call them una orquesta de doce músicos, if you'd like. However, musicians that have obtained degrees in music are often called profesores.

Dear friends.

Today there is a carnival on my island. Here in Carmen City the people is very cheery. They do a lot of dances in the City. Now I'm get ready for go to the carnival that it will be in a place named Playa Norte near of the beach. I don't like so much the carnival but anyhow I'm going to see the carnival for my family and for the girls that get out dancing upon of cars with to music. I hope get much funny. I hope tonight have much animus to be standing around of three hours while the carnival is happening.

I don't know if in your country or state there are carnivals. but it don't care. What the really import is if you have a soul very funny and very clean. Because only if the person is very cheery always will has a carnival inside of his soul.

Only I wanted to express my feeling in a day very common in my town. Already what my town has much places for visit and where you can get much fun with your family and also friends.

You sleep soundly tonight.

Because I will be of party
