beso (masculine noun (el)) — kiss. Look up beso in the dictionary

Mi mamá siempre me daba un beso antes de decirme buenas noches.

"Decir buenas noches" y "dar las buenas noches" son expresiones más bien intercambiables en México, aunque "dar..." se entiende que es algo más propia.

Dices buenas noches en general, pero a la gente más próxima, tu familia, por ejemplo, les das las buenas noches.

Estaba en la reunión, me levanté, dije 'buenas noches' y salí por la puerta.
¿Ya le has dado las buenas noches a tu padre?

FYI..........creo que el año pasado este foro tuvo una conversación muy interesante tocante los besos.
