![]() ![]() Jefe...... I wouldn't say it is vulgar. It is widely used in the US by Mexican-Americans and I don't think they use it to be disrespectful. It is just "another one of those things" that are spoken but misunderstood by many. And as Sosia says.....they also use Jefa for Mom. Elaina ![]() |

OK I just wanted to know I wasn't hearing wrong.

In Spain, for dad and mom it doesn't sound very good. Perhaps for an older/experienced person, wich you know (not an stranger)
But as Elaina says, there (in the US) it's much more common. She must says if it's informal. saludos ![]() |

Ya estoy de regreso..... JEFE - JEFA Se usa muy informalmente.....claro que hay ese uso para indicar Boss = Jefe/Jefa pero creo que preguntabas especificamente hacia los padres. Si se usa, no es vulgar y tampoco es malo. Ciao Elaina ![]() |
