Thank you guys!
I used pull out thinking it was stronger than extract.The verb exact is new to me. We have in Spanish the word "exacción" meaning a sum or goods exacted as payment, in an unfair fashion and maybe in a violent way. It looks good but I'm afraid that "exact information" is ambiguous, at least when I'm writing English "with an accent". The verb glean is also new to me. I used "harvest" information or similar concepts, but I now see this verb is more adequate in most -if not all- cases. Thank you again.
