En prensa

I am translating from Spanish to English material from a genealogical work. I am not clear what is meant by the following sentence:

“Tiene en prensa la obra genaló Abuelos Capillenses, e inéditos, diversos estudios sobe la misma materia.”

I have translated the sentence as:

“He has on press the genealogical work Abuelos Capillenses (Capillenses Grandparents), with various unpublished studies on the same subject.

I am not comfortable with the “on press”. I am seeking help.

Gracias,

Steve

'En prensa' could be translated as 'forthcoming', 'soon-to-be-published' or 'not-yet-printed/published'. "He has the soon-to-be-published genealogical work ..."
