Mmmm... this is out of context...
  • Medrar means to grow, especially when referring to a personal situation about wealthy or career.
  • Una situación obsoleta / algo obsoleto is something out of fashion or something that has already been overcome by new stuff. Doesn't obsolete exist in English?

Obsolete exists in English and means exactly what you said, and I knew that Medrar means to grow, this is why I´m a tad .

orígenes tiene algo de ver con la palabra tadpole (renacuajo).

I suppose that when something is growing obsolete (going out of fashion/style), you could say medra obsoleto, but I can't find any evidence that this has been used on the Internet.

I'm sorry I can't understand the phrase. It seems like you are leaving something out.

Medrar obsoleto is a really bizarre expression which doesn't make any sense to me.
