Cumplido o qué...?

Es usted de lo que no hay.

No estoy segura si esto es un cumplido o un insulto.

It can be both, depending on context. It's a funny expression. You are learning a lot! Alive Spanish. Where did you hear it?

Eres de lo que no hay means that you are not ordinary. You're that kind of person which is not common. That's why I said that it can be both, a compliment and an insult. It depends on intonation, intention, context, etc.

Usted es de lo que no hay, this phrase is more used, when you tell somebody, a complete, for example:

Jane

"There isn't anybody like you, Jane," is how we would say this. The dictionary I use says ser de lo que no hay means to be the limit. (There's nothing higher.)

Rusty, but my own phrase is like to your phrase.

There aren't womens as you.

Or, also it could be so, There ain't nobody higher to you.

There aren't, I said it, 'cause, I'm affirming, what there aren't womens like to Jane.

Then the what you said it's almost the same, only what of another mean.

David, we used these words as idioms, the words are Okis, Okay, By, Bytes, Que hongo, simon.

For example.

Can you use this word okis for say Ok, or right.

By/bye.
Okay/Ok
Simon/Yes
Que Hongo/ Hello.
Bytes/Bye, Bye.
Que pex/ How are you.

These words or phrase are very colloquials in my contry.

Ha, ha, Ha, look, this means of speak in Mexico, it're very fun.

Porque me pegas bato.

A donde vas a pasear con la nenita.

Bebe/ this word is used for the guys, it meaning Girlfriend or boyfriend.

I agree with Alfonso, can be both
You forgot your wallet for the 31sth time. Your friend says "eres de lo que no hay"

You find a first edition of a rare book your friend wants. Your friend says "eres de lo que no hay"
You're unique, special, not ordinary, but it's very important:
