Question El vestido de fiesta

How can you tell what a party dress looks like? Does it look "party-appropriate"?

An appopiate "vestido de fiesta" must be one that you don't care that somebody take you a photo in that dress and publish it.

A party dress or "vestido de fiesta" is a dress that would not be appropriate for school or to go to the mall, etc.

The dress would be made of a fancy material, might have sequins or sparklies, or lace and might be poofy or have poofy sleeves and most importantly....you would not wear sneakers with it.

This would be a dress that you would wear maybe to a party or to a fancy restaurant or or maybe even to church/synagogue/temple, etc.

Ok, Madonna can wear sneakers with whatever but I personally don't think it is appropriate.

Chileno, you're a troublemaker, aren't you?
