Este noche

este noche es mi prueba. yo es invita para mi bonito mexicana amigos casa para visita. aqui... yo hablar mi corazon en espanol.

yo soy(tengo) timida y excited. yo soy(Tengo?) mucho miedo. Mi aprendi mucho lately! pero es dificil. yo esperanza hacerlo bien!

hi, I underlined the things i'm not sure if i said correct, the words "excited" and "lately" I dont know. It takes me a long time to speak in spanish because I am not good enough yet. I only started to learn this past July and I'm happy with what I have learned so far!

The paragraph some of you helped me with yesterday in the translation thread I'm going to tell my friend! I don't want to yet because I'm shy but I'm excited that I can somewhat communicate now!
She speaks engish but I thought it would be nice to say things in her own language?

Most of my sisters and my friends speak spanish but they are mostly from puerto rico and mexican spanish is different I think. When I try to talk with them in spanish they tell me when I speak spanish I speak with a mexican accent which I think is good because she is mexican! Wow when she speaks engish her accent a bello sueño!!

maybe if someone else has a nice thing I could tell her too?

The spanish I wrote in the beginning, I wish someone to tell me if it is correct please?

gracias!

Man I told you before, you should be more strong in the love, if she really likes you, then I don't see the trouble with the your words in Spanish, she will knows to understanding you, if it's really it's yours.

Now, you should first learn the language the sufficient for speaks with her and later, well I guess that you'll can have a long talk with her in a future not very near.

You don't be shy, you are more intrepid.

poor me. that paragraph took me about 30 minutes to write. im not sure if it is even all correct. oh well.

despedida por ahora

There are a few common phrases in English of the form "I am + adjective" which in Spanish are "I have + noun".

I am hungry => I have hunger => tengo hambre.
I am thirsty => I have thirst => tengo sed.
I am afraid => I have fear => tengo miedo.

¡Oh, danny! ¡Qué pena! He seguido tu historia de amor este ratito que me he conectado. Hasta yo me he quedado triste

Bueno, eso es que hay algo mejor esperándote en algún sitio.

Te escribo en español para que practiques la construcción de las frases y busques palabras en el diccionario. Es un buen método.

Y ánimo

"Buena explicación"

Really his history is very said, because you like someone is like to the taste to a new car.

Really I know that there're more Mexican girls in the country where you can love you with more chance and time, you only need to invert more time in the search of more prospects.

Crotalito! How can you compare a girl to a car?

Danny, if I were you I wouldn't obsess with a nationality. Look for a girl who loved you and whom you can love. Maybe the woman in your life is next to you and you haven realized yet

Not never I compared the girl with the car, but I did a little example, the womens are so delicate as the cars and expensive too.

jejejej.

Expensive? I'm not, I earn my own money

And well, I'm much more delicate than my car

Yes, i know what you mean.. I wouldnt say i obsess with the nationality, but more of the language haha! I've always loved spanish and this is my third time trying to learn, and this time I'm actually learning! I have a thing for "spanish girls" because they're cute and I love the accent. How "mexican girls" fit into this, is because I've dated two within my life and both of them were very different from other girls I have dated. I know everyone is an individual, but it seemed they were just so much nicer and didnt use me and take advantage and stuff. I'm really nieve and shy and I don't like that I am! I'm from boston and im irish and though everyone isnt the same, the girls like me ive dated tend to be quite selfish and mean. See, I'm 35 and I'm a cartoonist/animator and a lot of girls around here for some reason don't like that and say I'm immature and need to grow up and all that. I don't know what that had to do with anything haha! I will admit though...I obsess over the spanish accent, especially the mexican one, there is something about it to me that just makes all bad things disappear! yes, im weird like that haha! I'll stop before I get into trouble haha!

The girl I had been posting about here, I have known for about a year, and I didnt like her only because of her nationality. At first that was why, but she was so nice and thoughtful, and after a while it didnt matter to me if she was mexican or irish or canadian or even an alien! She even gave to me a "I'm sorry" card last night! We are still friends.

But I always wanted to learn spanish anyways and this time I really want to and not give up at it. It is so hard for me. I took spanish one in college and all it did was confuse me. For a little while , this time, I think I was doing really good at it! But it takes me so long to read and comprehend it, and even longer to write it, especially if I try to write without using a translator!

But I know I'm learning because when I watch the spanish channel or listen to spanish music, I can hear words now and somewhat know what they're saying, as compared to before, it all sounded like one big word to me! The only thing is, I can't roll my tongue for a word that starts with "r". Is that meaningful or is it just something to do?

This forum is really good. I like the vocabulary and the practice boards.

It's good if you're still friends . She can help you with your Spanish. Why don't you ask her to help you with your learning? Maybe she needs to know you better... .

When I met my husband, He used to go with a group of girls. He's so charming, so well educated, intelligent and, at the same time, humble and sweet that I couldn't understand that none of those girls were interested in him. He told me that that they were interested in boys which were studying to be a lawyer or a doctor. I couldn't understand that they could give more importance to the incomes of a man that to his own personality. Now he's going to finish his 4th degree (neither law nor medicine ), and he's still a great man (and I'm the most important thing in his life, as he's in mine). I think I won a prize with him, and not for his studies, but for his personality. I don't know if those girls found a doctor or a lawyer. But I assure you that they were blind. And that was good for me

So, don't despair. Surely there is a woman for you somewhere (and maybe she's Mexican ).

You're right! I never thought of that! You know she actually did say if i wanted help to just ask!

Yes, as the girls you describe, care more about how much money I have and all that. I'm not very well educated, which I think puts a lot against me. You should see me try to cook rice! I did pass calculus 3 though haha! Took me 3 semesters to do it but I did! Anything I have wanted to learn, I have learned and have excelled at and thats kind of a problem I have is if it is not something I'm interested in, it is almost immposible for me to learn! This is how I know I will do well at learning spanish this time, and before long, I will be able to help people here!

You and your husband are both very lucky! I'm glad for you both!
