I am unsure how to translate the following frase into Spanish.. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

'your life flashes before your eyes'

Correcto, pero para mí la versión en inglés sería:

"your life flashes in front of your eyes"

Not at all. The BNC records 15 instances of 'before your eyes' and none of 'in front of your eyes'. For reasons I can't explain (Spanish wine again) the former sounds normal and correct, and the latter sounds wrong.

Really the you are saying there is Tu vida destello antes de tus ojos, but this doesn't make sense, therefore you can say tu vida pasa frente mis ojos this phrase is most common than the last phrase.

He's in Spain. It's not as easy to find non-domestic wines there as it is
here.
I stand by Pericles. It's "I saw my life pass before my eyes." Before
can mean en frente de, but it sounds very formal. More often it means antes.

COCA has some "in front of your eyes", although not as many as "before your eyes". I think that "His life passed before his eyes" or "His life flashed in front of his eyes" sound about equally natural.

It is also quite common, in BrE at least, when you are an eye-witness to something improbable, you might say 'There she was, before my very eyes'. Never 'in front of'.

(And yes, Chilean wine is excellent, but expensive here.)

All I did was to answer to Angelicas translation and that to me, what she said, was related to in front of instead of before...

Am I wrong still?

No, not at all, just that there is a limit to how interesting this point is, and I think we have reached it.

Usually I try to make it a bit more interesting by adding other words, so people get their heads scratching, and some of them will dare to look up the words etc.
