Indefinite and Negative Words
In my class we haven't yet discussed much of what our homeowrk is about, and unfortunately I'm trying to teach myself a new language and bombing my homework. I do read the material in the book, but lets be honest, I need it dumbed down for me. I have no clue what Indefinite even means as it pertains to grammar. Can someone please help me figure out the proper way use this. It often times seems in my homework that either none or multiple words can fit. What do I do then? I'm very lost, confused, and frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also I am visually impaired please respond in larger print. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the promt reply. An example out of the book would be the following (sorry I'm not sure how to get the upside down question mark):
- Tienes ________ plan para esta noche? - No, prefiero quadarme en casa. Hoy no quiero ver _________. - Yo _____________ me quedo. Estoy muy cansado. to fill in the blanks I belive I originally put filled in the blanks (in order) with algún, nadie and siempre. I thought siempre and tambíen were the best fit, although neither sounded correct. Turns out the answer was tambien. I guess another part to this question is when do you use Alguno, Alguna, Algunos, Algunas and Algún. When do you use nunca VS jamás? |

All the special characters you need to write in Spanish can be found in the 'Accents' pull-down menu just above where you type your response.
- ¿Tienes algún plan para esta noche? ![]() - No, prefiero quedarme en casa. Hoy no quiero ver a nadie. (The preposition is required because the negative indefinite pronoun represents a person.) - Yo también me quedo. Estoy muy cansado. (I'm also staying home.) Jamás is a more emphatic 'never'.
