To resist
Another quick question: I've read that "to resist" is "tener fuerzas." Is that correct?
And if I wanted to say, "I resist it," would that be: Lo tengo fuerzas. (?) Likewise, "I can't resist it," would that be: No lo puedo tener fuerzas. (?) or simply, No lo tengo fuerzas. (?) |

I'm curious as to where you read that. Resistir can mean "to be durable" as in "resiste mucho" = "it's very durable".
