"Participio pasado" and "gerundio" endings, according to infinitive endings are like:
For irregular verbs, the endings for "participio pasado" can be "-to", "-so", "-cho". Ending of "gerundios" donesn't change. Some examples: Changes in stem depends on irregular verb rules, which should be reviewed apart.

That depends on what you're trying to say. "Saying" could be a verb. It could also be a gerund, which is a noun. Which do you want?
"Said" can be a verb, but it can also be a past participle. A past participle is used in verb forms, like "has said," and it can also be used as an adjective, like "said deal." Which do you want? Angélica gave you lots of present participles (gerundios) and past participles, including the ones for "decir." She didn't say that gerund "saying" is said "decir" in Spanish. This is because the Spanish infinitive can be used to mean "to say" AND the gerund "saying." If you just want the verb, as in "she is saying" and "she said," you just conjugate "decir" into 3rd-person singular present indicative tense (ella dice) and 3rd-person singular preterite indicative tense (ella dijo). There are verb charts here in this site, and elsewhere, to help you with verb conjugations. |
