This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for June 12, 2008
nariz -feminine noun (la), nose. Look up nariz in the dictionary La rinoplastia es una cirugía plástica de la nariz. Rhinoplasty is plastic surgery of the nose.

Anda calla is like shut up. Borde means unfriendly. You probably saw it in a post I wrote to my friend Alfonso. Dar con la puerta en las narices is to close the door in somebody's face.And yes you can say salado for those expressions. Take care.
