My attempt is:
"Los dreads no crecen solamente por fuera. También crecen hacia adentro. Crecen en tu miente así pienses diferentemente. Entonces crecen en tus ojos así ves diferentemente. Y entonces crecen en tu corazon así te sientes diferentemente."
I feel like this is completely wrong because I don't know if crecer can be used that way, and I'm not sure if I should be using a slightly more impersonal construction like, "crecen en los ojos así uno ve diferentemente" although the original paragraph seems pretty strongly second person.
