I would say:
I've stayed at other locations of this (hotel) chain.
I've stayed at other hotels/properties of this chain.
I've stayed at this hotel's other locations.
I've stayed at this hotel's other properties.

We only use 'sucursal' (branch) to describe other offices (like the branch of a bank).

Just to make sure. Is Robin's question grammatically sound? I understand it doesn't sound natural.

I'm confused. What are you asking?

The only question he asked contained a spelling error. This I corrected and gave an alternative.

The only other thing I would change about his question would be to delimit the word 'branches' so that it is more obvious that the question is about the using the word 'branches' - Is (using the word) 'branches' alright?
The unspoken clause in parentheses is the subject that the verb 'is' agrees with. But in colloquial speech we often omit the clause when asking this type of question.

If you're asking if 'branches', the way it was used in the thread title, is grammatically sound, yes, it is. If you're asking about 'in other' versus 'at other', the latter is preferred but both are correct usages.

There I would say 'at other locations/properties/establishments'. I would not use 'branches' when referring to locations/properties in a hotel chain.

I could also say:

I've stayed at the [Hotel name] before. For example, "I've stayed at the Holiday Inn before." Or, "I've stayed at a Holiday Inn before." By using "a" instead of "the," you are communicating the fact that you have stayed at a different one, and not this one. Otherwise, you would have said "I have stayed at this Holiday Inn before."

or

I've stayed at one of these before.

or

I've stayed at other [Hotel name]s before. For example, "I've stayed at other Doubletrees before."

or

I've stayed here before. [With the understanding that you mean at that company's hotel, but not necessarily in this exact branch of the hotel in that city.]
