Hola amigos!!

I'm writing you from Athens, Greece...I have studied spanish for a year but I gave up for economic reasons...I would like to keep touch in language because I like it a lot...and I believe that this forum is very helpful!!!

A proposito/BTW María,

He leído que 1/3 de las palabras en el idioma inglés tienen raíces directas en griego, mientras que otro tercio tiene un enlace a griego a través del idioma latín.

Puesto que el español tiene más palabras que vienen del griego que el inglés entonces eso significa que el español tiene más de 1/3 de sus palabras en griego. ¡¿No es esto fantástico para ti, Maria!?
