Direct and Indirect Pronouns
Hi I have to replace the underlined part with the correct indirect or direct pronoun. can anyone tell me if I am right at my attempt below?
1. La abogada da una receta a mi primo(2 pronouns) So my attempt would be to put me receta a me primo. Is this correct? 2. La medico toma el temperatura a mi madre(2 pronouns) I would put le temperatura a me madre here? 3.La higienesta dental tiene que dar a mi padre una inyección (2 pronouns) Here I would put me padre le inyeccion? Neither of the sentences in your second attempt is correct.
There should be two pronouns - both an indirect object pronoun and a direct object pronoun. Object pronouns precede the verb. Caution: the Spanish language doesn't permit back-to-back third-person object pronouns. The third-person indirect object pronoun is changed from 'le' to 'se' when this happens. |
