I've marked items that need correction. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar enough with the vocabulary for dental procedures to make a reasonable guess for how to translate "file (away)".

I think poli's proposal is correct. "Limar los dientes hasta que solo queden las raíces" would be what I'd say.
