Okay, I could only pick out parts of that, and the translation software wasn't any better.

OK, I understand.

Even though you're really writing, it makes more sense to say that you're speaking with someone in a forum. You can say that in Spanish, too, but the way you used it earlier didn't make sense to me, so I thought you were trying to say something else.

sin sonido = without sound
sin ruido = without noise

la cacofonía = cacophony (harsh-sounding phoneme combinations that we try to avoid by selecting other wording)

I associated your word ruido with the noise made when using harsh-sounding phrasing (I thought you didn't like the sound made by saying 'escribir en los foros' instead of 'hablar en los foros'). I'm over-analyzing.

That's closer to what I meant. I really just meant, to me, it sounds weird to say "I write in another forum" (ie, don't like "how that phrase sounds") even though it's more technically correct. I just was trying to avoid using English to explain myself. Need the practice.

The term actualización is used in computereze. When you want to express keeping a person informed, or up-to-date, use ponerle/mantenerle al día.
For example:
Solo quiero ponerte al día. = I only want to update you.
= She updated us about her plans.
= I want you to update me about how things are at work.

To write Update:, I would use something like Nuevo:, Noticias: or Aviso:.

Si tú entiendes lo que es "trabajar en el piso", no. (I don't understand what this has to do with the conversation.)

Just a few corrections.

It was in response to Chill's question in post #31. I couldn't quite figure out what he was asking, the best I could come up with was "Did your girlfriend work on the floor more than you?"

A little Chileno. Here in this lil sentence I believe that you are wrong or I don't understand the sentence but I believe that the sentence musts write of the following way.

Because the first sentence sound bad.

I believe that the structure is revolt.

If you're looking for something like a title/label, you might try:

Lo último: Mi baño no tiene suelo...
Lo nuevo: Mi baño no tiene suelo...

Entendiste bien. Bravo. And you explained it well too.

Your gf put more money, but you worked more than her on the floor, and that your brother had worked more than anybody else.!

Excellent!

As to what did it have to do with the conversation?

nothing but a workout in Spanish!

What did you think.

Oh, when I talked about a picture, it was for you to take an actual picture of the floor for us to appreciate the collective effort made by your gf, bro and you. :-)

That was it.
