Quisiera felicitar a los mexicanos. La UNAM, Universidad Autónoma de México ha recibido el premio Príncipe de Asturias de Comunicación y Humanidades. Siempre es un orgullo que algo de tu país sea reconocido en el exterior o gane un premio. ¡Felicidades!

Thank you very much for the congratulation to my country, as you have said we wont one award to our Engineers and scientific that they investing each day something new about the technology, well as you know the Mexican have discovered much things in relation the health time before, but well, I know that are there much more people smart in the worldwide that they are investing more things in benefit of the people.

¡felicidades! Me gustan las personas inteligentes Creo que hay gente inteligente en cada país, no me gusta cuando personas en mi país piensan que hay solo personas inteligentes aquí. Es una lástima que ellos tengan estas opiniones

Estoy escribiendo desde mi ipod... Entonces hay muchos errores, pero estoy corregiéndoles... Lentamente jeje

They show or prove their intelligence. It's an ironic sentence. You know that the intelligence has several levels, so, people who think that only in their country there are intelligent people prove their (low) intelligence level.

I hope I've been able to explain myself.

Lo siento te entiendo pero me pregunto cómo se dice, "close-minded", en español. Es una frase que se usa describir las personas que no piensen para ellos mismos

What as well working your Ipod with the internet, I had one Ipod before the Ipod touch nano, but never I would can to enter any website fast, either way never I liked so much the Ipod only I used it to listen music in the street.

@Bob: There are a few expressions you can use for that... "tener la mente cerrada", "ser limitado", "ser intolerante".

Pedro tiene la mente cerrada para cualquier idea nueva.
Pedro is close-minded towards any new idea.

La empresa quebró porque las ideas del gerente son muy limitadas.
The firm went bankrupt because of the mediocre manager's ideas.

María nunca se alegra con el progreso de los demás. Es muy intolerante.
María is never happy with anyone else's progress. She's very intolerant.

Why do you use the word else's
"Else" means "más:

Somebody else: alguien más.
Anything else: algo más.

Else + 's (genitivo sajón) = else's is joined to anyone and means: de alguien más.

I think I'm not wrong.

@Crotalito: "Bankrupt" significa bancarrota. Aprendí una forma de decir "quebrar", cuando se trata de una empresa, como "to go bankrupt".

Sobre "someone else's progress", irmamar lo explicó ya muy bien.
