Hi, Andrew.
¡Bienvenido a los foros!
Since what you wrote in Spanish looks pretty good, I'll just let you know that there's an 'Accents' drop-down menu just above the text box you used while typing. It contains all the special characters you'll need for typing Spanish, in case you don't have a keyboard that supports them.
(What you wrote in Spanish is missing two accents).

demás...fórum.. Que maravillosa el drop-down menu! Thanks for the tip.

A few corrections for you.
Foro is the correct word for forum, and it doesn't require an accent. The other word that was supposed to be accented in your post was también.

Welcome, bienvenu et bienvenido al foro.
Pienso que la diferencia entre el fin o la fin es una exceptión rara entre las dos idiomas. No es muy importante.

A French teacher once told his class, "Gender is not really important, they will understand you even if you get it wrong." Later, one of his students wanted some bread in a French restaurant, so he pointed to his plate and said, "Garçon, La pain si'l vous plaît". 5 minutes later he received a plateful of rabbit!!

Gender can get you in all sorts of scrapes sometimes.
Somebody I know went into a butcher's in Spain and asked for a large chicken. Unfortunately instead of asking for "un pollo" she asked for it using the feminine gender!!! Needless to say the locals had a good laugh and so did she once they explained what it was.
