Ok, acabo de ver el RAE y siesta está definido como dormir. En chile lo usamos como medio dormir, porque para nosotros una siesta no es mas de veinte minutos, algunas veces solo 10 minutos y vuelves al trabajo. Ahora me doy cuenta que en españa como en otro países la siesta se toma depués del almuerzo (la nuestra también) pero que puede durar hasta un par de horas esperando descansar y que pasen las horas de mas calor.

Otra cosa es "la siesta de la peseta", que sería una cabezadita.

La siesta de la peseta (bueno, ahora se debe llamar la siesta del euro), consiste en sentarse en un sillón con una peseta en la mano cerrada, con los puños hacia abajo. Cuando te duermes se relajan los músculos y se abren las manos, por lo que la peseta cae al suelo y te despiertas por el ruido. A mí no me gusta esa siesta

Unfortunately, taking a "siesta" is not a practice here in the states. I think people would be more productive if that was the case.

Also, a lot of places could stay open later in the afternoon to accommodate those who cannot come in during the day.

Doctors said that to sleep the "siesta" is very healthful, and I agree.Above all in hot countries as mine.

Es una buen historia /costumbre, aunque puedo entender que no sería la siesta preferida de irma..

Pues, se debe mantener el nombre ' siesta de peseta' - sueña mucho mas encantador y auténtica que 'siesta de euro'

During the night, I have dreams very uglies, but my nightmares are more consecuenties ultimately, I don't know why have I kind to dreams?. Also I want to know the means of the dreams, but only I know a thing about them, is that the dreams are very pretty in severals sometimes, and other times they're very ugly for my mind.

Basically you have that dream always, because the dreams are the peace between the towns that have loss the hopefulness to life and forgive.


Just I want to give you a little time to reflection, already all you sometimes dream and never you know what meant the dream.

As god says, you've that to have the hopefulness in the him if you've no the hopefulness then you've no the eternity life.

Lo siento Antes estuvimos hablando del dicho ' indio comido, indio ido'
(Like the bad guest or fair weather friend who will leave when the goodies are eaten and gone. :-))

Well your brother he takes his nap, then is woken up to do his siesta... to then after finishing his nap and siesta, he'll go and eat and leave after that. (I was filling in some behaviour compatible with the nap-siesta laziness you implied.. )

Nunca había escuchado esa palabra y no la encuentro en el diccionario. Asi que dormitar o tomar la siesta (or whatever) es........... tener un clarillo?
