To ignore someone

In a Spanish grammar book I have, it says that "to ignore" in Spanish is "no hacer caso." If I wanted to say "I ignore him," would I say:

Le no hago caso. (?)

Any help would be appreciated; thank you!

Also not to heed...

Ignorar a alguien es muy común.

Ignora a Chileno, es decir, no le hagas caso.

Sorry, Chileno, it was just an example

Could I use the verb "to pass" with the meaning of "pasar de alguien"?

You can say, he passed me by without looking at me/or without acknowledging my presence/ or as if I weren't there. That would mean he ignored me.

Also you can say No lo pelo, no lo voy a pelar, no lo quiero pelar, a ver quien lo pela.

Only that in this case it's slang and well, I can't affirming you that it can be correct to mention in some cases, but well you can use them only with the friends.
