Leí Northanger Abby hace años y me gustaba mucho. Maria Jose, la admiro. Imagino que leer una novela grande como Pride and Prejudice en un idioma que no es su primer lengua es un reto. El inglés de 1800 es distinto.
Depende en el escritor, pero cuando atrevo de leer un libro en español me pierdo frecuentamente. Encuentro el significado de las palabras pero pierdo el sentido de la historia. Para mí Gabriel Garcia Márquez es difícil pero me encanta el ambiente que crea. Isabel Allende es más fácil pero menos divertido. |

A mí no me cuesta trabajo, porque desde los dieciocho años sólo leo en inglés y eso son muchos años... Pero en Octubre leímos Persuasion en el book club que tengo con los alumnos y les pareció difícil... pero se apañaron.

Of all of these options, I'd rather primera lengua, which I propose to substitute the idioma natal that appears in the Spanish interface of Tomísimo. Since nobody until today has been born talking a language, we might think that idioma natal is not an accuracy phrase. We could consider change it again as soon as the first talking baby is born.
