You have us abandoned/neglected????

Without the total context, how would this translation for "nos tienes abandonados" work for you?
"You have abandoned us"

Thr comtext is when you husband is travelling a lot, and we say nos tienes abandonados which is not the same as nos as abandonado.

No entiendo por qué se usa "tener"
 , robin has escrito "haber" [nos has abandonado], pero dijiiste que no es lo mismo

In "nos tienes abandonados" the idea is you don't spend time with us.
In "nos has abandonado" the idea is you have left us for good.

Thank you ! then to say " tiene abandonados a hijos y esposa" sería algo así como his wife and children feel abondoned/neglected by him

En ciertos contextos hay frases específicas, como "WoW widow".
