I agree with Wafflestomp. I'm even using scroogle instead of google and I'm thinking seriously of changing my email accounts in gmail, although I don't do it because that would be a problem. All my life is in Google's hands.

Really it's the bad when you trust your personal information to some kind to address in the any e-mail company, you needed have to tolerate the have always the e-mails without the opportunity to change of e-mail.

If I would change the currently e-mail I have, I need to do a backup of all my e-mails, because they are important for me.

Now I use the Microsoft Exchange with the Yahoo-mail, because with that service I have the chance to download the e-mail directly to my e-mail main, and I can keep them in the computer with a PST.

But when you only check the e-mail directly from internet it result more hard to do a backup.

Gmail supports both POP and IMAP protocols for using your own mail client, just like Yahoo. FYI.

Really I don't know if that services support those protocols to use your own e-mail client.
Then I guess that Irmamar can configure her e-mail client and well download the e-mails to her computer.

Not you only need to create a PST in the Exchange client.
You don't need something else and configure the e-mail service that you have in your own use.

FireFox never I didn't use that software, but I believe that in some time you need to buy the software because it asks you a licence key.

I've never been asked a license key nor do I think we will have to buy Firefox. I doubt that.

trial demo? no I don't think so. When I installed it, it didn't say it was a trial demo. How will an internet browser cost money though? That's no fair. it's supposed to be free to download.

I believe Mozilla FireFox is free to download. If you haven't tried it before, you can download it from http://Mozilla.com.

CrOtALiTo, I'm not sure which browsers require you to pay in order to download them, but I haven't seen any recently.

Yes I met that software, I used that software time before, only what the software is very basic, then I don't know.
Do you know the Netscape software?

That software is very complete until you can modify the page with the scripts and that software has got better with the past of the time.

Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Internet Explorer (and every other browser I can think of) are free to download and use.
