Bienvenido Ccimecce!
Are you from Lagos, Nigeria? (I had a friend from there, in Barcelona, more than 25 years ago...) Enjoy learning and practicing Spanish around here! ![]()

![]() In Spanish it is important to know gender. How do you want us to address you, if the need arises? You may already know that, in Spanish, most names ending in "a" are the femenine form, while most of those ending in "o" indicate masculine. Or female and male. And then there are many other names that require being more immersed in the culture. Like Guadalupe, Carmen, René, María, Joan, etc... are unisex names. a friend, viveka Last edited by viveka; July 28, 2010 at 02:10 PM. |

Bromas a un lado, a ver qué nos dice Viveka, o Chileno, Angélica, Ookami... etc., for that matter... ![]() ![]()

You can try to answer the questions people had for you, and/or you can ask us any question you may have regarding Spanish. You can tell us how to pronounce your name... Or you can start a thread about a subject you are interested in. The key is that you start practicing and learning while you have fun... Enjoy your stay in the forums... ¡Diviértete! ![]()

Naija, please try to write in standard English. Writing in slang can be confusing to non native English speakers and in some cases native English speakers. If you cannot write properly in Spanish that is ok but try to keep the English as standard as possible. Try to write in slang if you are teaching the non native English speakers. Thank you.
