Y algo que recordé con el fiasco de la "canción oficial de las celebraciones del bicentenario de la independencia" (que le encargaron al Mastropiero mexicano): "Toda vez que por necesidades económicas Mastropiero se vio obligado a componer música a pedido o por encargo, produjo obras mediocres e inexpresivas.
Por el contrario, cuando sólo obedeció a su inspiración, jamás escribió una nota."

I guess someone else did... I haven't searched thoroughly You Tube to see if they have a version of "Cartas de Color"... (I believe it's one of their best albums.)
