xuexi is learning. It means "are you busy with your learning?"

okay Cultural Lesson 1:

In China, students go to school like us (duh). But their schedule greatly differs from US's.
They have morning classes, and I guess they learn math and science like we do.
Then, in the afternoon, they go home and eat lunch. Unlike Americans, they don't go to a cafeteria to eat. They go home to eat. Then, you take a nap ^_^
after the nap, you go back to school and have afternoon classes. Part of that is learning English.

I know this may sound stupid, but I might have gotten the facts above wrong. >.< I don't really have to teach you Chinese culture, but you can research it on the internet. This is just a quick...um....access to Chinese culture.

Cultural Lesson 2 coming soon.

There are many ethnic groups, and the majority, more than 90%, are Han. My parents are Han.
So yeah China is the oldest world civilization, it's a major one, and uninterrupted. It has records dating back over 3500 years.

Okay, here are the translations...

I'm hungry: 我饿了. Wo e le.
I'm angry: 我很生气. Wo hen sheng qi
I'm tired (not "sleep"; in Spanish it would be "Tengo sueño" right?): Wo lai le
Can I come in? 我可以进来吗?Wo ke yi jing lai ma?
Can I go? 我可以去吗? Wo ke yi chu ma?

Yes I understand you...
