Todo ello confluye ...
Hi,
Here's the sentence: Quote:
All of this combines into the two most painful questions, those [where more warnings exist/ where there are more warnings {???}] that our country today is at a crossroad: that of the society and that of the democracy. The "aquéllas donde más se advierte que nuestro país está hoy en una encrucijada" is the real issue. Am I on the right track? How would this be expressed in English? Thanks in advance for any suggestions ![]() Ben |

Hi,
Oh, okay, that makes much more sense. I was aware of some other meanings for advertir e.g. to advise and inform. But 'to notice' didn't occur to me. I think of it as more of an 'action' verb, I guess, where 'notice' is more passive. Muchas gracias! ![]() |
