Otro método para decir "okay"
Hola,
Estaba buscando una palabra en español para decir "okay" pero solo pudé encontrar "OK". ¿Hay otra manera de decirla?

Extract from the Oxford Spanish dictionary for the verb valer:

D vale (Españafamiliar)
1 (expresando acuerdo) OK; ¿nos encontramos en la cafetería? — ¡valer! shall we meet in the cafeteria? sure o fine o OK!; paso a buscarte a las ocho, ¿valer? I'll pick you up at eight, OK o all right?; voy a llegar un poco más tarde — valer, no te preocupes I'll be a bit late — all right o OK, don't worry; que llegues tarde una vez valer, pero tres días seguidos … being late once is one thing, but three days in a row …
2 (basta): ¿valer así o quieres más? is that OK o enough or do you want some more?; ¡valer, valer, que no me quiero emborrachar! hey, that's enough o plenty! I don't want to get drunk!; ya valer, ¿no? lleváis media hora discutiendo don't you think that's enough? you've been arguing for half an hour

Interesante. Oxford especifica que 'valer' tiene este significado en España, ¿es possible de usarla en otros lugares? (Sí, Poli escribió su respuesta antes que refresqué la pentalla)

Coloquialmente, a algún mexicano le he oído: "Sale y vale". Pero "vale" es sobre todo ibérico...

Está bien.
De acuerdo.
Bien.
Bueno.
Órale. (Mex.)

Lo anterior son varias opciones... ¿de acuerdo?

Cuando estaba en México, alguien que conocí ahí me comentó que yo decía mucho "vale", y que estando en México debería decir en su vez "ándale".

En España, aparte del "vale" también se usa el "venga". "Venga, vale".

Por cierto, es curioso que hayas oído "sale y vale"... ya está prácticamente en desuso. ;(

@Pjt: Sí, "ándale", "órale", "ok", son lo más común aquí, aunque últimamente los jóvenes tienden a decir "vale", porque ven series españolas o porque tienen conocidos o familiares españoles.

Nunca había oído "váyalo". Suena curioso.

Por cierto, Glen, "Iguanas ranas" e "igual Pascual" (que tampoco había oído antes), son para decir algo como "lo mismo para ti"; es más bien diferente de "está bien".


--Que tengas buen día.
--Gracias, iguanas ranas. / Tú también. / Igual tú.


--Cuídate.
--Iguanas ranas. / Tú también. / Igual tú.



--Me llamas más tarde.
--Sí, Ok. / 'Tá bien.


En cuanto a "no tienes que jurarlo", tampoco me parece que tenga el mismo significado. ¿Podrías dar algún ejemplo de cómo lo has escuchado?
