Do you mean those people who work in parking lots that you give the key to and they in turn give you a claim ticket?
If so, wouldn't the term be asistente de(l) parking (estacionamiento)?  Sorry, I know no Spanish people and am therefore not qualified, but wouldn't that be right?

@Poli: It seems to be a police officer that checks parking meters.
From the images I get in Google, I think Pjt has the right answer.
