Quick help/response needed
Hi everyone. I am at work and in the process of sending out an ad in Spanish. The headline reads " Toda Mascota, Todos Los Dias" (For Every Pet, Every Day). My question is that "Dias" doesn't have the accent over the letter "i." Is that okay because it is a headline? My office mate said to let it go but I think it's wrong. I'd like this to be an opportunity to learn because clearly I am missing something if she is right. Help, this ad has to go out in a few hours.
Thanks in advance. |

You must accentuate the letter "í". Writing correctly shows your are a serious an learned person. You'll also find a surname which sounds like "días" (in Latinamerica) but it is written "Díaz"; it has an accent too.
