I am working very late today and right now there is a lull on my shift.

Christmas Eve.....this holiday season snuck up on me and before I knew it was here. I have to work tomorrow (during the day) and I haven't finished my Christmas shopping. So what else is new?

I am fortunate that I have to work. At least I have a job and I must be thankful for that. Unfortunate only because I would rather be shopping, cooking, baking, celebrating, having friends over, etc.....

I am feeling kind of low this evening because of having to break bad news to patients, telling them they have cancer, the uncurable kind..... don't get me wrong, I also have given good news.....but there has been more bad news than good.

I read a bumper sticker today (again) this is the second time I see it......I don't know if I have asked you guys this question or not but here it goes...

The bumper sticker read:

What if you live your life believing in God and on dying you find out there is no God
- or -
What if you live your life believing there is no God and on dying find out there is a God.

Which would you prefer?

I've been pondering this question and I actually don't know which one I would rather have..........I don't think I like either but what do you think? Am I missing a hidden message?

I don't know why it is bothering me. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it.

Elaina, your post make me sad, I don't know why exist the illness in this world and I don't know why has to die the people, but I believe in God, you should believe in God too.
