A New Kitchen

When we finally found a house, Mom wasn't pleased with the kitchen. There were many things she wasn't pleased with, and I could remember her scolding Dad about these things, and how we could've chosen a better home. The kitchen was the main problem. Several months ago, Mom (S) decided (Va) we should get our house (IO) a new kitchen (DO). The same people who built a new bathroom and bedroom and also fixed up a bathroom were going to make our new kitchen. I (S) can't wait (V)! It is interesting and exciting to watch the workers make our new kitchen, by ripping out our wall, stove, and other things that should be taken away.

Perhaps you can think of a sentence that contains the verb gave, or something like it. This verb requires a direct object (gave WHAT) and an indirect object (to WHOM).
