Question Mi restaurante

Spanish project: design a menu for your own restaurant

Requirements:

  • 10 main dishes (los platos principales)
  • 5 desserts (los pasteles)
  • the prices
  • at least 7 pictures (I'll take care of that)
  • 30 pts. check the spelling please (there shouldn't be too many mistakes; I checked them over several times)
  • Lol, check if my prices are reasonable ^_^
Name of my restaurant:
English: Clipart Restaurant
Spanish: El restaurante de ______
¿Cómo se dice clipart en español?

Los platos principales
  • Los camarones - $3.99
  • El perro caliente - $1.99
  • La carne de cerdo - $2.50
  • Los tacos (con pollo) - $1.99
  • Los tacos (con carne de res) - $1.99
  • El chile con carne - $3.50
  • Las enchiladas (con pollo) - $2.50
  • Las enchiladas (con carne de res) - $2.50
  • Los chiles rellenos - $3.99
  • Las quesadillas - $3.99
Los pasteles
  • Las galletas - $1
  • El pastel - $8
  • El chocolate - $3.89
  • El helado de vainilla - $1.99
  • El flan - $3
Due: Tuesday, March 3rd
When I get it back I will say what I got out of 30. I hope to get a 30.

Thanks in advance. I appreciate your help.

Not all of the items you chose would actually appear on a real menu. If you've any Mexican restaurants near your home, stop in and ask to see their menu. They may even have a take-out version that you can take home.

I checked spelling and offered suggestions. I refrained from changing some things, mentioning instead that some items on your menu were not too realistic.

You can't go wrong with a visit to a Mexican restaurant to see what's on a real menu. I think it would be a good exercise.

I would try to look for a Mexican restaurant, but we don't have time. Anyways, I don't think we have one. We don't go out much and we've never been to a Mexican restaurant. Actually, I've been to one before but I don't remember when, where, and the name of the restaurant.

Anyways, I made some changes. See if you like it now, besides the fact it's not a real menu.

© Las camarones – $3.99
© El perro caliente – $1.99
© La carne de cerdo – $2.50
© Los tacos – $1.99

Okay, it's los camarones.
As for hotdog, on the additional vocab sheet we got, it is translated as el perro caliente.

You wouldn't want the preposition in the title. That would suggest that you serve clipart.

Nice picuture Lee ying. I want to add something about the hot dogs. In fact in some places of the Mexican Republic. The people call to the hot dogs as is normally translate to the Spanish. Perros Calientes. But anyhow is most used the word hot dogs for the usages that come from the United States. Then the people is odd in use the word in question.

Then I would be named the hot dog (Perro Caliente). Yes you do. But you need to have a simple habit to say the word of correctly way.
