Estuvo intentando decir "It should be Thursday, but it's Wednesday!" Es correcto

Bah. ¡Estuvo casi correcto!

I was trying to say I need a better word than "phrase", but you answered my question.

Aquí es un otro mensaje de hoy:
"No problema. Me entretengo cuando hablo en español . .

Edit: Yikes. "Digo", no "dijo"

Fazor - I sometimes post on FB in Spanish and don't care if any of my English-speaking friends know what I'm saying or if it's correct. It's really just for my pleasure anyway, right? I actually forgot that one of my acquaintances is of Puerto Rican descent, and one time when I posted about having been so excited because I had a conversation in Spanish with the parent of one of my students, and she replied that she's going to start speaking Spanish with me ... and it was a wonderful reminder that there is more Spanish around me than I realize!

Yo dije.

Lo digo por si acaso te has confundido.

Exactly! I'm glad I'm not the only one. The reason I started this thread is, posting things in Spanish on FB is good practice . . . but correcting my mistakes so I can learn from them is better practice.

Anyway . . .

Aquí es mi mensaje de está mañana:
Un otra día como cualquier otra día. Estoy trabajando . . . o si alguien preguntaría . . . estoy trabajando. Aún estoy intentando despertar. ¡Hurra! Hoy es un día corta.

No usé la palabra "cualquier" antes hoy . . .

You can use the word Hurra, and vale if you want to say yes.

Just I did a little in your post.
