Hello. Although this phrase is correct, sounds a bit weird, at least in Mexico it's not commonly heard. I'd say: "Le dispararon dos veces en el pecho" instead. |

Yes, those two translations sound better to me too. Mine was a direct translation, and as we all know direct translations can sound awkward.
A third translation: Recibió dos balazos en el pecho (en lugar de disparos)--tiene más sentido.
