Yes.

You're right above the lyrics, I have learnt a lot of with them, when I hear to music in the computer or the cellphone I try to follow the lyrics with the mind.

Todo depende en la canción. Hay tantas canciones con letra mala. Sin embargo aprender la letra de canciones enseña el ritmo del idioma y ayuda aprender muchas palabras.

Estoy de acuerdo porque muchas veces he visto malas letras. sin duda hay muchas palabras que he aprendido de ellas

¡Genial! Voy a compartirlo a mis estudiantes de inglés mañana.

Otro idea que suelo usar en clase es leer letras de una canción de español pero traducido en inglés. Mis estudiantes tienen que adivinar cual es la cancion. Sólo leer las letras. No las canto.

Y es un ejercicio también para mi.

Me parece una buena idea, pero ¿cómo te obtienes las letras inglesas sin saber de cuál canción española son cuando lo hace tú misma?

Bueno, primero, intento traducir las letras yo mismo. Después, las doy a mi marido que es español para que pueda comprabarlas y corregirlas.

Y por supuesto, siempre elijo una canción de moda como Amaral (España) o Shakira.
