Easy prey is a term I hear a lot when describing a vulnerble group.

The very young and elderly are easy prey for the flu. Better yet: The elderly are easy prey for phone scams.

PS InEnglish, potpourri has come to mean dried flowers or things that look like dried flowers dyed with agressive perfume added to it. In reality there isn't a good reason for it.

I just mentioned it as one the things which I see as having no purpose at all, at least not one that I see. Not especially funny, I suppose.

I thought it was funny.
Somehow, I can't imagine why, I don't often think about potpourri.

Muchas gracias, Poli.

I am really sorry for a misunderstanding. When @irma said everything had a purpose, I just thought of potpourri as an example of something for which I see no point at all. I could well have said cushions, or bath salts. In English, it does not have the connotation of a mixture of languages , and that is most certainly not what I meant. I do apologize for any offence, which was certainly not intended.

Bueno, no pasa nada. Son cosas que suceden en entornos bilingües.
