This is a discussion thread for the Daily Spanish Word for July 19, 2008
cinturón - masculine noun (el) - belt, girdle, sash, waistband. Look up cinturón in the dictionary La gente que en su trabajo tiene que levantar muchas cosas pesadas a menudo usa un cinturón ancho para apoyar la espalda. People who have to do a lot of heavy lifting in their jobs often use a wide belt to provide back support.

A adage, cuando sientas venir los dias dificiles apreta el cituron desde tu evilla y asi evitas llegar soltado al trancaso.
