Some Spanish expressions with gato:
- Llevarse como el perro y el gato
- Dar gato por liebre
- Ponerle el cascabel al gato
- Aquí hay gato encerrado
- Buscarle tres pies al gato
- De noche todos los gatos son pardos
- Llevarse el gato al agua
Y yo soy gata de toda la vida.
Ask me if there is something above that doesn't make sense.

- Buscarle tres pies al gato
- De noche todos los gatos son pardos
- Llevarse el gato al agua-Is this you can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink?.
Y yo soy gata de toda la vida.
Ask me if there is something above that doesn't make sense.
The rest have me stumped. Please let the cat out of the bag and inform us what they mean.
PS: In jazz parlance, a cat is a member of the band, or any young slick man.

.... El gato, porque es gato y araña.

By the way, my avatar is my cat, a female cat. Bu she doesn't scratch.

¿Tu gato no araña?

Irse de la lengua = To let the cat out of the bag

@poli: You'll find a few of the gato expressions and a few cat expressions already listed in the idiom dictionary. I'll add others.

To be continued...

"Pound sign" £ = "gato" In Mexico we call "gato" this sign: " # "

...and "gato" can also be the "tic-tac-toe" game.
