Altos y bajos

Como va tu relacion con tu marido?
Con muchos altos y bajos.
In English?
Can we say with lots of ups and downs
what about upsidedowns? I heard it in a film.

You can say with "ups and downs" or "with highs and lows". I would not recommend "upsidedowns" because it means something entirely different, and in context can be completely misinterpreted.

I'm not sure what upside-down is in Spanish, but an upside-down "W" would be an "M".

When something is upside-down, the part of it that should be up is down.

"?" Upside down would be "¿"

"!" Upside down would be "¡"
